Horror Vacui & the Graeae. Zip Hoodie
The term horror vacui, or "fear of emptiness," was introduced by Italian art historian Mario Praz, who noted the excessive clutter of Victorian interiors with small details. This principle is also found in Riga Art Nouveau architecture: the façade of the building at 33 Elizabetes Street (designed by Mikhail Osipovich Eisenstein, 1901) is symmetrically adorned with caryatids, atlantes, lion mascarons, and sphinx figures, creating a visual chaos characteristic of horror vacui.
This hoodie wears that same restless fullness.
